Photo 101 Day Two: Street

Photo 101 Day Two: Street

“Today, let’s focus on a street. It can be a quiet road blanketed in snow, an alley near your apartment covered with murals, or a busy street where pedestrians weave between cars and motorbikes”

I got a bit behind on blogging my photos so I am posting them all today for last week.

The task for day two was a wide angle shot of something street to establish a scene. I went wondering but I actually knew exactly where I was going to go for the shot. This particular street has so much depth to it, its a scene I have only just recently noticed and I am sort of ashamed to admit that because I have tended to have my mind on other things when walking or driving down this street and on taking the time to look up and around I knew this was a scene to be captured.

I didn’t use a landscape view because I actually appreciated the depth of the view and therefore felt a portrait view was more suitable.

Down My Street

It was a particularly sunny day so apart from being seriously inviting I knew the light would help to play a big part in shaping the photo. It’s quite a busy photo but at the very same time, it so calm.

enjoy x
