Photo 101 Day Twelve: Architecture & Monochrome

“From geometric patterns on skyscrapers to the ironwork on historical buildings, there are many opportunities to capture the beauty and complexity of architecture.”

It was a busy wedding day so I took a few minutes after the sun had set to take some photos of the fountain in all its glory and realised that the picture was perfect for the architecture and monochrome theme. Its the beautiful curve of the wall and the exactness of the little pillars on the balcony edge. Stunning is not a word I use often because stunning is quite a gig to live up to but stunning, this is.

The only thing I can’t decide is if I prefer the colour or the black & white version. What do you think?
