BEFORE photos of ar’ouse

Good Morning and Happy Weekend to you all!

I have been thinking about posting pictures of the house renovation for a little while now and last night I decided that today was the day to get started. Mainly for the purposes of friends and family, intrigued work colleagues and lastly but not ‘leastly’ (not a word! but it should be!) those of you from the world wide web who are ‘in to’ this kind of housey doey uppy malarky where you see it go from rags (!) …to riches *praying to my gods*.

The house was/is a complete DIY hello hole. The previous owner(s) didn’t really know what they were doing and therefore we have found many amusing botch jobs which we are taking great pride in correcting. Somehow it feels doubly good to do up a house that is in such a state that it’s hard to get it wrong!

So you nosey lot, this is it! The pictures sort of speak for themselves so I wont say much more and it’s only going to get really interesting when you start seeing the changes we make (along with a few helping hands).

If you have any tit bits of advice then comment away.

Photo 101 Day Nineteen: Double & Rotation

“Your twin sisters. Your neighbours two poodles. Your vision during a dizzy spell. Your doppelgänger.”

This is the second to last task for the course and its a pretty fun topic.I have put together a small collection of doubles that have been around me recently. Two of the flowery pictures were taken at my recent photography workshop in the lavender fields near my home. Double poppies, double spots on the infamously symmetrical ladybird and last but not least… a picture of a recent event I managed with the twins.
